Keyboard/Drum Machine help

Does anyone know how i can set up my keyboard to play realistic drum tracks (the ones on my keyboard sound horrible). I downloaded this thing, I'm sure everyone has it, something like 300 real studio drum tracks for free.

Can i download these into my keyboard (DGX-305) or set it up in fruity where hitting different keys will trigger different drum sounds (based on pressure response, too).

If there is no hope, then i will have to go buy a drum machine. But i would really rather use the sounds i downloaded becuase they sound pretty good.

Thanks in advance for any replies!

Whats this thing? If it's samples you will just need a sampler to trigger the sounds. I don't think you can import them in that keyoard.

- Why? you wont be able to load sounds into that either unless it is a sampling drum machine like the ES-1 or MPC

You should be using a soft sampler

I use a DR-880 to lay down the tracks and a v-synth to provide the sounds

I would hope that your computer has MIDI capabilites, and that you can run a MIDI cable out of the keyboard, and into the computer.

I'm am so pissed Emu is out of the hardware business. A company so rich in history gets baught out by creative, the company which is the worst practical joke ever inflicted on the music world. I swear at least 40% of the newbie post start with "I have a Creative this or that and something doesn't work right". </ramble>

I want my sp-1200 back sometimes
