Just a quick query on Armoured (steel covered) mic cables. I'm thinkin of buying some and since they cost quite a bit more than regular cables i just thought i'd try and get peoples opinions on em. Are they a pain in the ass? Do they actually last longer than regular cables?? thanks..

Talking Steel plated cables

Yo Happy hour: [that is my favorite hour of the day]

I saw those metal-covered calbes in the lastest Musician's Friend catalog; I don't own any but they look interesting.

Maybe you should buy one and see what it does.

That's what I did with the Monster cable specially made for keyboard; it is good. And, I have a Monster cable for my mic input and that is very good.

I think the oxygen free stuff might be a good way to go from some material I've read from a friend in London.

If you only buy one and it doesn't do it, you can send it back.

Experimentation is what makes our hobby so much fun.
