cubase le help

im new to cubase so im starting with LE...is there any good books people would recommend for me to start with?...another quick side question I have is..how come whenever I try to export an audio mixdown in wav, mp3, any format for that matter its only 5 seconds long?... any help would be appreciated

I can't really advice any books, since I've learned cubase the trail and error way, but I'm sure others can help you on picking a book.

About the 5 second thing, it has to do with the locators. Those are the little white arrows in the top line of the main window. Set them wider to export more. See this as a workarea.

The manual is the best book to use. Everything is covered in it. Halion has your answer for the five second problem.
