VST/Mac setup

Guys,

Anyone like me still running VST 5.2 on a OS 9.2.2 rig?
I don't need to upgrade software at the moment and VST does everything I need but I require more I/O's.
Can anyone recommend a firewire interface with Multiple I/O (adat + analogue) that will run with my current setup?
The MAudio 1814 is supposed to fly with OS9.2.2 but I can't get a straight answer about VST.
Other options?
