Where, when, why, who? (hehe)
Seriously, I'd love to get the 4050 for the figure-8 pattern, I believe that's what I need to have some separation when recording vocals and ac. guitar together... Plus it would look cool next to my 4033. -Evan |

Some guy is selling it on http://www.recycler.com
Search the music ads and you should find it. I found my Tascam 688 for $350 on Recycler. What a deal, huh?

My 688 was actually $300, but he asked for $50 shipping (even though it cost him $75 - way more than either of us expected, obviously)
So essentially I got it for $275 + $75 shipping. Isaiah

gordone,
i've used the 4050 figure-of-8 on acoustic gtr in a mid-side configuration. the Mid-Side technique along with a mic pointed across the bridge really sounds great. -kp- |

Hey, I bought that AT 4050!!
Wow, that is such a coincidence, I am the guy who bought the AT 4050. I was just checking it out. It sounds great. I bought it today 10/31/00. How much do these mics go for realistically?
