newbiiieee here :D how to record ur voice on top of an existing beat
helo everyone , I am a newbie and tryin 2 learn how to spit/rap over a beat(instruments)...
I have a beat already!! I just want to rap ontop of the beat not record , my voice then somehow connect the beat with the vocals etc , I want to record on top of the beat while the beat is playing, using a mic , hmmm how do u do that /???? please give me the instructions step by step help would be much appreciated !!! |

I'm a newbie too but I think this is what you want to do...first open Cool Edit then on one of the tracks I think u right click and go to insert then insert by audio video etc....whichever u'r beat music is at...then after that's entered on another track click R where there's R S M I think......R is for record I think...then at the bottom there's a RED RECORDing button click that and it will start recording and playing u'r beats at the same time.....hope this helps you
