I'm having a slight problem (just lately) with feedback in the "talents" headphones while tracking...seems they want it so loud, the leakage is becoming a problem. The 'phones are about to be replaced anyway, just wondering whether volumes like this will be contollable no matter how "closed" the new phones are. BTW, I am trying to send a lower headphone mix out, but they keep wanting "more me" until the above situation occurs. Any suggestions/corrective measures? (short of only dealing only with clients of the un-hearing impaired variety!) :>)

Thanks,

BW

i know this is a strnage iidea. but go out and buy some machine shop/airfield quality headgear. protects ALOTTA SPL. andhave either htem bring their in ear earphones, or buy a couple pairs. and you will have then put those in their ears, then the headgear on top. you wont hear a thing!

Yo Kristian:

You do need a spelling primer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As to the phones, try a set of Beyer 250's.

Don't get your head too close to the mic if you're recording a vocal with phones as the mic can pick up the signal and cause zinks and zanks in the sound spectrum.
