I have been using my D16 for several months, and now that the OS is updated, the world is good. However, I need more tracks and the cost for a second D16 is looking pretty good now that prices have fallen ($1299 minus $100 rebate). The update manual gives a sketchy picture of how to synch two machines, but I want to know if it is really practical. Korg tech support was equally murky. Several question come to mind: 1) when you backup the data, does it go on two disks? 2) Do the songs on each machine have to be named the same or have the same song number? 3) What is the best method for mixing down to one of the machines so that an audio CD could be burned? 4) the manual says the machines can be synched for playback and "etc." - Does this "etc." include recording capabilities?

Any help or comment is appreciated.
