reverb suggestion?
The reverb effect (a and b) that come with Cubase suck ass. Any body have any suggestions for settings to make it sound more crisp and realistic? Like a vocalist singing in a small auditorium or something, nothing drastic like a massive hall or church sound. and nothing with the shitty faded sound. I'd just like to have a normal dry signal to be prevelant but with a little smooth tail. Or possibly, do you know of a free downloadable reverb somewhere? thanks

Considering it's free.... the Freeverb plug blows the Cubase stuff out of the water!

I was never super happy with any of the reverb plugs (although I havn't tried the classic series reverb), so I bought a TC Electroncis M300 pretty much for the verbs alone. You can find them under $200 now. There is something about verbs from a hardware unit that the plugs just don't seem to emulate right. At least so far.
Hope the free stuff works for you, but if not it's another thing to consider. |
