CW9 "Editing time" anomaly?

For my latest remote project I thought I would make use of the "editing time" in the stats for each song I'm working on. Is anyone familiar with this? You open a CW file, then under the File menu you select Info, then hit the Stats button on the window that appears. The Stats window shows, among other things, how much time has been spent editing the file. I mean, I assume that's what it means.

But a couple of these songs show 13 or more hours and I know for certain I haven't had them open for editing that long.

I also noticed that if I open the project from the little menu that pops after starting CW, the editing time value will be different (way more) than if I open the same file from, the File menu.

Does "editing time" mean what I think it means? Or is there a bug in there?

That's odd. I did this with one, that I only worked on for about 2 hrs, and it said 62:56:35. If this means 62 hours, it couldn't have even been left open that long. It's an odd thing, whatever it is...

Oh, and mine is in Sonar, but should be the same thing.
