punch ins in acid?
i've been using acid for some time but i have never punched in. i'm guessing you just can't and every new file has to have its own new track?
i can just bounce them all down to one after i'm done i guess but it would be easier if i could just punch in on the same track |

One thing I've done is to play a couple of different parts while recording a track and then editing it after. That's not always a practical approach, though.
