Question New help ?????

Thanks to everyone who has me out so far.. Now i was wondering What the Behringer ADA8000 does?? And should i get one to use with my G5 and cubase with the tascam 1804?? ( this is to record Live worship) - J

Well, FW1804 has only four mic imputs so if you need to record more than that youl need to expand it with something like the ADA8000. ADA8000 will give you extra eight mic imputs into your recording software and eight extra outs as well. ADA8000 is an ADAT interface wich will plug into into the FW1804 using optical ADAT cables. There you go, with something like this combination you'll be able to record twelve microphones and four line imputs (keyboards, DI'd guitars...) at the same time. Hope this helps. Oh, and get yourself some books on recording for beginers as well, they'll be the best investment.

Thank you for the help Emils.. now can you combine 2 ada8000 with the fw1804??? I will get books and read them..-J
