Question

Anybody out there have access to, or know of anyone who could transfer recordings from a 2" 16 track tapes in to Cakewalk Pro Audio Files? I have some studio stuff done back in '85 and I wanna re-do the drums and do some re-mixing. But I would like to transfer the 16 tracks into Cakewalk so that I can manipulate the stuff here at home. I know there aren't a whole lot of 2" 16 track machines out there anymore, so I'm asking for some ideas. I know supposedly that the tracks line up with 24 track machines, or maybe it's 32 tracks? Anybody with any experience in this type of conversion...I would welcome your help in locating someone able to do this. I am in the Central Illinois area, maybe somebody nearby? Indy? Chicago? Thanks for your time and help! bOb
