Spectralive
I've read a few postings about this product, and it seems to get the general "thumbs down" and suspicious spamming comments.
I use Cakewalk Home Studio, and have used various "things" to brighten up a finished recording (things like, Sonic Maximizer, Voyetra Exciter, etc.). I even tried the demo Spectralive (with the annoying beeps.) So here's my question... maybe I'm a moron, but I thought it (Spectralive) sounded pretty good. I'm no expert, not an employee, or any of that stuff. I have no special interest in the product or company whatsoever... so... am I really that stupid and inexperienced? Is there something out there that someone can recommend for final mix "jazzing?" |

I guess my question is too inane for this forum... is there somewhere else on this site I can get a serious response? I'm looking for something to buy, and just want some advice... that's all.

Look at CLAS from Refined Audiometrics (refinedaudiometrics.com/pages/20). It's free and may just be what you're looking for.
