APEX condensers?
I'm on a slim budget for both LD and SD condensers and stumbled across what looks to be some good "bang for the buck" offerings by Apex but cant find any reviews for them. I was particularly interested in the 185's as they seem like a steal @ $120 for a matched pair of SDC's with rolloff switches and interchangable capsules. Anyone ever try em? (Or any of the other Apex mics in this link?)
http://www.musiciansbuy.com/APEX_185...e_APEX185.html My other choice (and probably a safer one) would have just been a Studio Projects B-1 for my LDC and maybe a pair of Behringer EMC-8000's or Nady CM-100's as my SDC pair. At least I know those mics will continue to be useful down the road and still fall within my $200 budget for now. Any thoughts? THANKS Last edited by NRS; 12-09-2005 at 03:23.. |
