Controller/soft synth/amp hookup question
Hey guys. I have been running my controller via MIDI into my MOTU828mkii into my laptop (for some soft synths) out to my monitors for a few weeks. I want to be able to play some of this stuff live tomorrow. How do I hook it up? When I tried to run a cable from a MOTU output into an amp, I got an awful distorted sound, so I immediately turned it off. Do I need a DI? A converter?
