Valve Amp Dirt

I have been playing in a rock band doing reasonably well for 5 years now. My set up comprises of a 70's Marshall Artiste (like a bluesbreaker), Fender USA Telecaster and Line 6 delay, Boss Super Overdrive and Vox volume pedal. This is the basic setup - now for proper dirty sounds I've been trying the following pedals on and off - Big Muff, Turbo Rat, Boss Heavy Metal, Tube Screamer. I pissed off with the sound all of these pedals give there is no BALLS! ( I also have a Schecter guitar with Seymour Duncan Humbuckers so it's not the guitar.)

I've decided to invest in a new amp, I don't really like Mesa Boogie's and was thinking about a Fender Deville. Anyone play rock music a la Foo Fighters/Trail of Dead/Smashing Pumpkins out there who uses one of these? Is is suitable? any other ideas?? I'd be pushing to go over £1000 ($1800).
