M-Audio DMP3 vs Tampa
I was wondering how the Tampa sounded compared to the DMP3. Does it sound
as good or better? I like the Tampa mainly because it is rack mountable. Or is there another mic pre I should be looking into in the sub $500 range, other than the Tampa? I need a mic pre that would be able to handle most ribbon microphones. Like the Beyer M260, M160, RCA 77-DX and Coles 4038, etc. James |

The search function sounds the best out of all of those.

APHEX 207D. Got 2 Channels...Could be crap for all I know
but it could be worth checking out.I Own A Tampa, and I doubt I personally would be able to hear much difference when compared to a DMP3. |
