Studio-izing a 2 room basement
We are looking at buying a house in the spring - already have the house picked out. It's a 5 level split - 2 rooms in the lowest level - divided by drywall. This is where my studio will be. I want a small room or section of a room isolated so I can put my amps in there and crank them. On their own the 2 rooms are too small - so I'll have to knock out the wall. How tough will it be to isolate an area of that room large enough to house me, a couple amps etc? How would I do that? I've heard the room within a room thing - but how do I do that?
