A 30 year old unit of this nature, unused, spells potential trouble. Why would anyone bid this much for a slow speed 4 track ? I hope the winner of this one knows to use a variac to power this thing up. What about dried out caps from none use .... etc .....

A Revox is mighty nice, but it be better to get the newer B77 or PR99 models. To pay almost 1500 USD for an unused, 30 year old A77 is insanity. Shit, if it was new, as in made in 2000, then I can see it but otherwise ......

The seller put this auction up on my behalf. It was first part of his TSR-8 auction that didn't sell. I thought for sure I'd get the remote for the healthy $125.00 I bid!!! lol. I too paid less for my TSR-8.

It goes something like this:
Want a free deck? - Find the one with bunch of accessories. Then sell accessories. You actually may make few bucks that way.
Need few drum lugs? Don't buy lugs. Buy a drum. Take the lugs you need. Sell the rest of drum's parts as "parts: lugs, rods, hoops, heads, shell" - you WILL actually make a few bucks that way and get the lugs you need for free

...speaking of "mental" .. heh heh, check this out: UNTESTED and NO MANUAL included - so AS IS! ....
