converter question
So if you've got a compressor or eq unit that has rca in and outputs, and need to convert to 1/4, will a converter give you signal loss or anything?

It sounds like you're talking about just physically converting from RCA to 1/4" unbalanced, which would really be an adapter, rather than a converter. No, there won't be any signal loss. You can either get an adapter to use with a cable that you already have, or you can buy a cable with RCA on one end and 1/4" unbalanced on the other end.
