Eq problem....

So I just got mine off ebay, and it has this spectrum of lights, and all the lights for 8k are on, even without sending a signal through it......Is this bad?

I just tested it out. Even though the LED lights are all on, the greens, yellows, and reds, for 8k, I pushed the band up and down, and the frequency did in fact change well, so it seems as if it's just a costemic problem, not a real sound problem?

Well, cosmetic isn't quite the right word, that would be a scratch or something. But it is probably something that won't affect the sound. It's a pretty common problem in older gear to have LED ladders acting up.
