EQ units
So I've got a Teac EQA-20. Very old, but in great condition. It's a 10 band. I was wondering what makes a great Equalizer good? Why are some so much better than others?

Fred Forssell on EQ design
I like EQs with inductor circuits. There is this "musical" sound to them that I love. The Speck Model ASC features a simulated inductor circuit on the high and low bands. I don't know if Vince Poulos of Speck came up with that circuit himself but it's what makes the price of admission on his EQs well worth it. |
