Best tape for fostex m80
hi
can anyone recommend the best 1/4" tape for a fostex m80 reel to reel?

Ampex/Quantegy 457
But lots of people use 456 with no problems. A couple other tapes to consider that are in my opinion excellent choices for this format -- A-8, M80, R8: BASF/EMTEC SM 468 3M 808 (hard to find)
