Getting a Yamaha MG 10/2 into a slant mixer rack-case.

I currently have a Mackie 1604vlz Pro in there, which this case seems to have been designed for(a mixer that size anyways)... and was trying to figure out a way to rack mount my little Yamaha MG 10/2 in there that I just got.

Does anyone know of any kits or anything that might help? I know some mixers have ears that you can attack to them to make them wide enough for this, but this one doesnt seem to have anything like that available. I know it has an adapter so it can go on a mic stand, but that doesn't really help me much. I already have the box, and can't get rid of that(besides i might want to use it with the Mackie again) but I don't really need a 16 channel mixer in there all the the time. Even just a rack shelf that could fit in something like that and that this could sit on would be fine... but I havent seen any for mixer cases. I'm sure I'm not the first person who's wanted to do this. Okay, thanks.

Also, if anyone has any experience with this mixer. It seems that the C-R/Phones volume is dependent on the master volume. As in if the ST level is all the way down, the C-R/Phones won't/can't make any noise. That doesn't seem right. Is this normal?
