Hi,
I recently bought an FD-4 and I really want to use it primarilly as an external ADC for my computer since it's in a very electronically noisy environment. I don't yet have a digital pci card in the PC (looking vor very cheap card recommendations) but I'm not sure how it all would work. Once I get a SP/DIF optical card in the PC is it as simple as mixing down to the optical out on the FD-4 (how?) and recording the digital inputs into cakewalk on the computer? I want to do this not only to digitally edit the audio but also to burn to CDs. Can I burn a CD directly from the FD-4? What's everybody else doing?? Thanks Vic |
