I use Acid 4.0 and having problems

i was wondering how do i get it to record in mono than in stereo?
my source for recording is mono, and it only is recording on one side, since its stereo

When the record window comes up, there should be a drop-down list near the bottom. You should be able to select the left input only to record in mono.
