Fire Proofing? flame retardant spray?

After getting all my bass traps and acoustic pannels made and covered with a fabric of my choice I thought....SHIT! I need to get this stuff flameproofed or at least get some fire retardant spray of some sort.....

Any ideas on what to use and where to get it? (in the UK). If any of you across the pond can give me some ideas I can look for an equivalent over here. Many thanks,

Alec

probably a fabric shop, or maybe some of the bog standard diy stored would have it/ order it. Its probably less effort and cheaper to get it over the internet.
good luck in finding it
btw are you using rockwool/something else other than rigid fibreglass cause it seems impossible to get where i am (surrey)

Didn't you use fire retardent foam? Don't do what the bar in Road Island did that Great White was playing at. They put bed foam up on the walls... yeah, that's bad. There's a reason the expensive stuff is expensive. it may just save your life.

Or are you worried about the stuff you put OVER your foam? I'm confused... haha. :P

I hear "I can't believe it's not butter" makes great heat/flame retardant.

Lord knows you can't melt it onto bread, and I've never had a sandwich burst into flames.

You'd think that "bedfoam" would have some fire-retardent qualities......otherwise you could burn alive in your bed. Childrens sleep-wear has to be self-extinguishing why wouldn't mattress foam be too??????

I used Rocksilk RS45 made by knauff. I got it through Travis Perkins, also look up a company called CCF, that's Travis Perkins' sister company.

Good luck

Thanks for the replies, I found some spray on stuff on line that should do the job ok
