Where to find a HUGE booming bass sample??

I'm looking for a sample of a HUGE booming bass hit. Something you would probably associate with those CD's you just listen to for the insane bass so you can blow the trunk lid off your car! Anybody know where I could find a sample like that? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Just one thump.
What I'm trying to do is add one big boom to this particularly explosive part of a song I'm doing for somebody. What I'm imagining is that big deep BOOMING bass like some rap songs have. But one that actually holds out for about 2 seconds or so.

Hey Dogman, I'd like to check that out that thump. Might be useful.

Cool. Here it is, just one hit.
Sub
I have a few others, and some with beats to them.

thanks for that clip Dogman.

I still had in mind something a little different as well and I stumbled across this:

http://www.lysator.liu.se/~zap/stomper/index2.html

it's called stomper, and it's a free sound synthesis program. It can create anything from a simple sine wave to a big sub bass boom from hell. Anyway, for anyone else around here that is interested in creating a freakish bass sound check out that program! BTW, it is a Windows program that will create a WAV file of the sound you create, it's not a plug-in.

Later

Thanx Dogman, I'll have to check that out when I get some time to make some new music.

Thought I would revisit this old thread to add an idea I had...

Use an old busted turntable for booming sounds.... Leave the needle up and just rap (in the old sense of the word) on the side of the plinth.....
