Question about mixer/audio interface
I am trying to set up a small studio and I was wondering what mixers would be good to start with. I have a price range of $200-$300. I was also wondering what kind of audio interface would be good to buy and if it's possible could I get a mixer with a built in audio interface. Thanks for any advice

Firepod if you don't need the "mixing console" in front of you!

I have never used it, but I've been eyeing the Edirol M100FX at B&H Photo.
I wouldn't expect the best quality preamps or converters, but a 10-channel mixer with USB out for under $200 seems like a great place to start. It costs twice as much at zzounds, ams, etc. It looks to me like some of the inputs are for RCA jacks, though. TRS/TS would be preferable. Last edited by bpr103; 11-23-2005 at 13:17.. |
