Route 101 Solimar Custom?

Have any of you went through these people or know anyone that has? I am shopping for a guitar, and the few reviews that I've read about it have been pretty good, but I would like to hear from someone that has actually played it. $300 sounds pretty cheap for a guitar that is supposed to be as much as they claim it to be. Thanks for any imput.

Route 101 is a new kid on the block, so I can't pass judgement on them knowing I've never heard one yet.
Have you looked into the new bolt-on Carvins?
