Do any of you make your own XLR Cables..

if so..

where do you get your cable and connectors...

im sick of shitty cables.. and would like to have good ones...

I make a lot of my own cables. I use Neutrik connectors and cable from Canare or Connectronics. I usually buy my supplies from fullcompass.com

I use www.redco.com

Their a little cheaper than full compass in most cases. BTW, well worth the time to make your own.

Which connector would you suggest for Drum Mic Cables? not much ware on it..

Neutrik are very good. Depending on your drum mic's you may want to consider a right angled female XLR's. It could save you a couple of inches in a tight set up. I always go with the gold plated black Neutrik connectors. Not sure if the gold plate is helping or not. It may be wasted money...
