Setting track markers for live recordings

I got a lot of great live recordings from the last tour I was on, but I'm having a little trouble mixing them down into separate tracks. What I want is for the mixdown to play continuously exactly as it was recorded during the shows, but with each song also separate as its own track. Whenever I try to separate them I end up with a little bit of empty space between the tracks. Any suggestions?

I'm using Cubase, by the way...

Thanks!
Peter

You may have to separate the individual tracks first. Don't use any fades at the end of songs, just decide where you want each track to start and end. Then in your burning software, look for something like 'transitions' or 'time between tracks' or something similar. Set that to '0' and that should move one track right into the next with no silence in between.

Hope this helps.
