My Mars sales rep isn't sure if I can back up my HD to CD. If there is a SCSI output, wht not. I want to buy an HP 9200 CDR/W. Will this work?

CDRW
I installed an HP 8 times CDRW and it came with software to use it to back up anything I'm working. It uses a spical formatt that I had to do (takes about 1 1/2 hours) to formatt it but then my computer sees it as another hard drive. Hope I helped good luck. Donny!!!

Thought
Thought, now thats something new for me. HA HA!!!
I didn't know your were talking about a Fostex unit. Well ya gotta give me an A for tring. That CDRW that I have is real neet. Once you formatt a CDRW it then sees that as aouther drive. I think I'll just read for awaile longer maybe some of this stuff well sink in. Later, Donny!!!
