High bias?!
whats the difference between high bias tapes? what is CrO2?

alright.
it confused me because on my tape deck a switch for bias is a two way, going from "regular" to "cro2". |

The switch controls the bias setting of the deck. It only affects the record mode.
High-bias tapes can take hotter signals for more dynamic range, and a lower noise floor. If your recording on normal tape use the normal setting. Likewise for high-bias (CRo2) tape. |

alrighty. Also, does IEC II/TYPE II mean that its just high bias? Im just trying to find the right cassette for the best sounding quality for my deck, im just a bit confused!
