can someone please help me out with this?
Ok i finnally got my band completely together we are gigging pretty reguarly but we are ready to start recording. Is there any cheap yet quality gear out that would allow to do this. ANy advice is greatly appreaciated.

Cheap and quality are rarely found as one and the same thing. What sort of budget do you have and what sort of recording do you plan to do? You can spend anywhere from a few hundred dollars to make "decent" recordings for demos and such, to several hundred thousand to produce quality recordings. Gear is the first step, learning to use it is the next several miles of the journey.
