A silly wiring question
I am going to try some active monitors coming out of my board.
The board has balanced 1/4's The speakers have xlr or balanced 1/4's or rca..... Whats the right cable to use with this set up. Guitar, Inst, patch? XLR - 1/4? Rca to 1/4? Which way would you go and what type of cable is best.. Thanks |

You should used balanced cables. Either 1/4" TRS (tip ring sleeve) to 1/4" TRS, or 1/4" TRS to XLR. There is not really any difference between the two, as they are both balanced. I've been buying my cables from www.markertek.com lately, as they seem to be good quality and decent prices.
These should work: http://www.markertek.com/Product.asp...&search=0&off= |
