a quick question
i just bought a personus firepod and was wondering what cable i need to attached a basic MXL 990 microphone(like xlr male male or male female) plus what is the best head phones for the cheapest price ?????? thanks

You'll need an XLR Female to XLR Male cable. How much are you willing to spend on headphones? Musicians Friend has The Audio Technica ATH-M40fs cans on sale for $45 a pair, which is a hella-deal, imo.

male to female, probably just requires a standard "mic cable"
and headphones, this involves some personal preference but i like either the sennheiser hd280 or the akg 240s. both can be had for 100$.
