I use ACID Music 3.0 to record my music and I think that It works great!

U.W.W. Use Whatever Works.

I still use my ancient copy of ACID 2.0 sometimes to throw together loop phrases....

I use ACID Pro 5 for loop based projects but I've never thought that the built in recording mode sounded good. It always gets a nazly sound for vocals and allways sounds rather off.
