Record Problem with Fostex R8
I own a Fostex R8 8 track and it won't record anything to track 8. the guy I bought it from said it played back just fine on track 8 but it just won't record. Any ideas, maybe an alignment issue?

Could be alot of things, Bad electronics, real dirty heads, worn heads, loose audio card on the inside Not sure about that one though not positive how the r8 is made inside. I have never had mine apart.
Could be a bad jack. Check and make sure your cables are good on that track. |
