Hi. I've just bought a Zoom digital recorder (802CD) and I was wondering what ways you can convert the tracks to audio to put on another machine (e.g. Roland 24-track). Can I save SEPERATE TRACKS on the CD for file transfer or do I have to save the whole thing?

As best I can tell from looking at the manual you have to mix down your tracks to a stereo master before burning a CD. But I suppose you could just copy the track you want to a new song and burn that (as a master) to CD. This would be very tedious for more than a couple of tracks.
There is an optional USB interface available that allows exporting of .wav files to a PC. That might be a better solution in the long term. Erich |
