taking apart a dw5000 pedal
I've got a dw 5000 double pedal that's pretty old and has a lot of worn parts and a 4000 double pedal that is not in the best condition. I was thinking about taking both apart to combine the best parts of each into one pedal. I know it sounds like a half assed attempt to not buy a new pedal. either way, I can not for the life of me seem to get the 5000 pedal apart. I can't get that rod peice connected to the bearings off. I don't know what's holding it in, I've taken out all the screws I can find. Any help?
