with your current soundcard you can only record two mono tracks at a time, or one stereo track. If you would like to record four you will need to start researching soundcards with at least four inputs. There are many available in an assorted price range, so start looking!
There are quite a few good threads regarding four input soundcards, so use the search function as a start.

search the n-track posts for Keith Daniel

He has got two Ensoniq Audio PCI cards to sync and has details on his web page.I have an Ensoniq in sync with the generic card that came with my box from Frys.I had to swap a bunch of 16 bit cards but I finally found two with the same crystal.I've tested sync with a 12 minute input from my HR16 drum machine and it is rock solid. All the other failed combinations of cards showed audible drift by about a minute.

This was a great gift that Keith revieled to us on the N-Track forum a few months ago. It allows two or three Ensonic cards to be installed and in synch. 4 or 6 ins and out are obtained for under $100 investment. Give it a wirl...

Mikey!

Love the new look of Revolution Radio but the flash takes so long to load.Catch 22 is auditioning female vocalists as we do our annual personell shakeup. The recent stuff you recorded and posted sounds GREAT Mike.I bought a Rode NT1 last week and I'm still very excited about my first real large diaphragm condenser.
regards
Tom
