harphunt is on a distinguished road
audio devices settings in preferences

Sould I use...

MME: Intel(r) Integrated Audio
MME: Wave Mapper or,
WDM: Intel(r) Integrated Audio

and what are the differences between them? I'm running from a small mixer into the "line in" of my desktop.

Thanks in advance,

PEACE

If you can get the WDM working, then that's the better route. Not just because it's newer, but because it is supposed to be faster. BTW - what I've just said is only a regurgitation...I have not performed any analysis myself.

Witness. MME are allegedly an older driver, sometimes referred to as "Legacy" drivers. I get fine results using the WDM. Actually I do better on my system with WDM than with ASIO.

The best I can do.
