RME ADI-2 vs. Lucid

Does anyone know anything about the RME ADI-2. Apparently it's a two-channel A/D and D/A converter that samples at up to 192K. It sells for around $700. How does it compare to the Lucid two-channel A/D converter?

Thanks.

I hope not! I would loose all faith in our market economy which offers two channels of Lucid AD/DA (the Lucid 9624 AD plus the Lucid 9624 DA) at a cost of $1,500. If you can get the same quality AD/DA for $800 less, the RME seems like an obvious choice. Of course, I haven't heard the two side by side.

Well, I think the RME is more expensive than that new. Anyhow, I own the Lucid converters. Honestly, I have to say they are right there with the RME's. One might hope differently, but its the way I hear it at least.
