someone's listening

because for the past couple of days, i was thinking that it would be nice to have a cheap effects unit to slap on vocals and instruments for tracking purposes... and a gentleman gave my place of business a box of various rack pieces, including a behringer virtualizer. i also picked up a very old-school emu drumulator. nothin special, just something goofy to run through effects and maybe use as a click.

anyone else have similar experiences? where, in the chaos of day to day life, occasionally things work completely in your favor?

Yeah, there was one time this guy from my church just said "Hey, you want a free guitar?" Me, not being one to pass up anything free, kindly obliged the elderly gentleman and got a pretty sweet acoustic and a little practice amp all for free. It was a Tanara acoustic, and I like it. Its probably just a cheapo guitar, but hey, it sounds good, and has great action.

Has anyone else heard of this brand (Tanara)? Just curious.

"never dealt with tanara, tanara is owned by ibanez and chesbro. alot of tanaras are actually ibanezes made in the same factories and such but just sold as a tanara for tons less,"
