Question Anyone review/have thoughts on the "Mix It Like A Record" DVD?

Hey guys,

It's been ages since I've been over here, but I happened to stumble across a product announcement for something called "Mix It Like A Record" that came out recently. Evidently, some well known producer basically takes you through every fader move, plugin use and everything else for a particular studio track. Not sure what type of music it is offhand. I haven't seen any reviews of this yet... only the normal marketing hype BS that always floods the web with a new product. Anyway... I'd love to hear your thoughts on this, especially the guys that do this for a living like Blue Bear and such. I'm a metalhead, so I'm not sure how much help the DVD would be for my tastes in particular, but the product seems intriguing anyway. Now if say a Neil Kernon or Andy Sneap or Sacha Paeth or David Prater or Dennis Ward would do something similar... now THAT I would buy in a heartbeat!

Good to be back here.

Regs,
Jeff
