Buffer and backmasking question
Honestly, I've never used half the stuff that N can probably do. I've just coped with it.
One of these things is the fact that the meters are wayyyyy slow. The bass drum will hit, and nearly 0.5 seconds later it will register on the meter. This is a buffer setting, correct? I've tried adjusting the buffer setting in N, but it doesn't seem to make a difference. Is this entirely due to my crap onboard soundchip? ( I record on my MR8, and bounce to the puter). Secondly, is it possible to play a track backwards in N??? That is, is it possible to reverse a normal track using N? |

In version 4.x, you can do all that you describe.
1) there is a refresh rate for the meters in the Preferences screen 2) there is a menu option under the Track menu that allows you to warp the wave file (reverse playback, time strech and song speed)

Thanks for the reply, but unfortunately I'm still using 3.3.
Maybe it will apply, I'll have a look... |
