Different DP-01 Question
HEY, So you can export your tracks from the Tascam DP-01 to the computer. I don't have a computer. I usually take the machine to a friend's place and export shit through his computer. My question is this: Can tracks be exported to a jump drive and then to a computer so I don't have to drag the whole damn machine everywhere I go?

Don't think so; the DP01 doesn't have any ability to actually move the tracks anywhere. As you've seen, when you move tracks with the computer, you see the tracks on the monitor, then drag & drop them to the hard drive. How would you do this without a computer/monitor? The DP01 and the drive, if hooked up together, would both sit there dumbly waiting for the other to do something.
