US-224 with mixer question!
I have a Tascam US-224 with Cubase software. I've heard that running a powered mixer through the Tascam will improve sound. Would something like a Behringer Eurorack US1002 work???
http://www.musiciansfriend.com/srs7/...se_pid/631237/ Also, what kind of set-ups do other US-224 users have?? I'm setting up a low budget home "studio" and am looking for any tips I can get. |

I thought the point of the us-224 was not needing a mixer separate from your D/A/D.
i had the us-428, the only problem i had with it was that it didn't have a pre-amp, but i ran my fmr rnp through it. i can't speak to the quality of the us-224's pre-s, but it would better to get a single/dual channel preamp for it than to purchase a hardware mixer. |
